UTAH'S BADLANDS & THE MILKY WAY PANORAMA

Late spring is the ideal time to capture Milky Way panoramas, and this workshop will do so with the stunning backdrop of Utah's badlands. Each participant will be loaned a star tracker that you'll learn to use to create highly detailed and noise-free night sky images. You'll also learn the whole post-processing workflow over multiple days.

southern Oregon coast, redwoods, and the milky way

Most mornings will be spent in the Redwoods, photographing giant trees and forest scenes during the best time of year to capture fog in the forest, which results in incredible light rays. Evenings will be spent on the rugged Southern Oregon Coast, where we'll capture the sunset and then the Milky Way over impressive sea stacks.

Autumn in Southern Utah

Southern Utah boasts some of the best fall colors in all of the world, with beautiful cottonwood trees that have a ton of character. In this workshop, we'll be shooting in Utah's badlands and canyon country during the peak of fall color. Many of the locations we'll be shooting on this trip are very seldom visited and some have never before been photographed.
